I understand that many do not care for oatmeal raisin cookies, and understandably so. The ones from the store can lack the notes of butter, oats, and cinnamon that are fundamental to the cookie's flavors. Sometimes, they even taste TOO much like raisins, a personal pet peeve of mine. Despite, I assure you that you simply have not had a good one yet. I encourage you to not associate these cookies with your grandparents, and please give them another chance today!
