"So you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. So I beg you to reaffirm your love for him. For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in everything. Anyone whom you forgive. I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, If I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ, so that we would not be outwitted by Satan: for we are not ignorant of his desgins."

Sometimes, it can be difficult to forgive others. We often think, if ___ did us wrong, then why should we do right unto them and forgive them? But the Corinthians 2: 7-11 highly encourages us to forgive no matter what. Not only does Christ forgive us for OUR wrongdoings, we unknowingly protect ourselves from the schemes of the enemy. Remember, his goal is to steal, kill, and destroy. He loves when someone doesn't forgive others because that means that God can't forgive that person either. So don't allow him to divide us as a collective; our walk with Christ is personal but it also involves others. Don't let Satan destroy you and others' walk with Christ due to unforgiveness. Lastly, remark that forgiveness also includes forgiving yourself.
